The egyptian museum in Turin

The Egyptian museum in Turin is the oldest Egyptian museum in Europe. Foundet in 1824, it is the second most important after the museum in Cairo. his collectionis dedicated exclusivly to the art of Egyptian high culture and has attracted great researchers. Because of the importance of the collection and the research carried out there, Turin is considered the birthplace of Egyptoly.


The so called Museum of Egyptian Antiqiuities in Turin  exists and houses purchases from 4 centuries and the finds of the  Italian excavation expedition.
